Repair Finisher - Manufacturing

A Snapshot of Your Day

You conduct visual and dimensional inspections and record all required data. You interpret inspection results and recommend appropriate actions in accordance with repair specifications and accepted industry practices. Documentation and testing of required component inspections are also part of your duties. In addition, you perform process-related controls to ensure equipment and materials meet minimum requirements.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Set-up, operation and maintenance of various repair machines to finish, inspect and evaluate parts per industry standards; documentation of tasks
• Perform inspections and accurately report findings to supervisors and engineering
• Work closely with managers and engineers
• Follow all safety regulations and use prescribed protective equipment
• Keep work areas clean and orderly
• Active teamwork and, if required, training of new employees

What You Bring

• High-school diploma or equivalent experience
• Safe handling of hand and power tools
• Auto-body, grinding or fiberglass/resin repair experience preferred
• Willingness to wear protective suit, mask, respirator and gloves and to lift up to 23 kg
• Knowledge of the metric measuring system
• Physical fitness for 8–12 hour shifts, incl. Saturdays if required
